Sandpile On Different Topologies


How would one program a sandpile on different topologies? Well I've thought about it and drawn it out:

I was thinking of how sandpiles would look on different topologies. For a double torus and so on, you would just do something similar for the single torus except you would connect like boundaries as shown bellow:


Anyways this post should make it easier to adjust the boundary conditions of my prototype program to the desired topologies.
